Megan Towns is a dedicated physiotherapist who has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with developmental, neurological and complex conditions for almost 20 years. She specializes in connected and compassionate care that is centred on the needs, preferences, and goals of the individual and their family. ​

Megan offers a multi-faceted and comprehensive approach to care, and uses a variety of treatment techniques to help people achieve their personal goals. She believes in evidence-informed practice. While working clinically as a physiotherapist, she also completed a PhD in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Toronto. She stays up-to-date on the latest research findings and implements these into her practice.

  Megan has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient, school-based rehabilitation, and community-based rehabilitation. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work within programs at both Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and Grandview Kids, and collaborate with specialty teams from SickKids.  

Additionally, Megan is an authorizer for the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) and is able to prescribe wheelchairs, modular and custom seating, walkers, and standers.
